About the Role
The Project Manager for Oil and Gas projects is responsible for managing assigned personnel and ensuring overall project delivery. This role coordinates a safe, efficient, and technically sound program that complies with contractual obligations and company standards, while selecting and assigning qualified professionals to all project roles. The manager approves weekly and monthly planning, scheduling, reporting, and records, and maintains active liaison with clients and subcontractors to address work issues, pricing strategies, and contract renewals. • Manage assigned personnel and oversee overall project delivery. • Coordinate safe, efficient, technically sound programs aligned with contracts and standards. • Select and assign qualified professionals and craft employees to project roles. • Approve weekly/monthly planning, scheduling, reporting, and record‑keeping. • Maintain liaison with clients and subcontractors to address work issues and contract renewals. • Resolve staff problems and guide work methods per policies and contractual terms. • Establish and monitor project milestones, procurement schedules, and budgets. • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies; monitor budgets, value engineering, and contractor claims. • Assist clients with contractor evaluations, tendering, and change order management. • Oversee handover processes, including snagging, documentation, training, and operational readiness.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a B.Sc. in an engineering discipline, with a Master’s degree considered an advantage. The position requires a minimum of 20 years of overall experience, including at least 15 years in Oil and Gas and ten years in a Project Manager capacity. Excellent command of English is mandatory, and Arabic proficiency is a plus. Key competencies include deep understanding of regulations, codes, and authority processes, strong leadership and stakeholder management, and excellent communication and coordination abilities. Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems, as well as strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, are essential. The role also demands the ability to identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and oversee budgeting, value engineering, and contractor claims. • Hold a B.Sc. in engineering; Master’s degree advantageous. • Minimum 20 years total experience, with 15 years in Oil & Gas and 10 years as a Project Manager. • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency a plus. • Deep knowledge of regulations, codes, and authority processes. • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities. • Proficient with project management tools and reporting systems. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
