About the Role

The Specialist supports large proposals and leads small‑to‑medium efforts, coordinating schedules, templates, compliance, and content production. They provide conceptual leadership for document design, act as lead writer/editor for resumes and past‑performance sections, and manage pink and red team reviews and revision implementation. The role also participates in go/no/go analyses, conducts internal debriefs, and liaises with business line, operations, technical, and BD professionals to develop marketing materials while guiding junior team members. • Assist with large proposals and lead small‑to‑medium proposals from capture through interview stage. • Coordinate proposal schedules, templates, compliance requirements, and content production. • Provide conceptual leadership for document design and serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past‑performance sections. • Facilitate pink and red team reviews and apply lessons learned to improve proposals. • Manage implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on review feedback. • Participate in go/no/go and greenlight analyses following delegation of authority guidelines. • Conduct internal debriefs and review client feedback to drive continuous improvement. • Liaise with business line, operations, technical, and business development teams to create case studies, project sheets, and capability summaries. • Guide and mentor entry‑level proposal team members. • Perform self‑checks of work prior to external review and approval.

This hybrid role collaborates with business development and operations on pursuits, preparing formal and informal client solicitations such as EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and pre‑qualification efforts. Candidates can be based in locations like Minneapolis, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Meridian, Murray, Phoenix, or Portland. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of marketing‑focused proposal experience, as well as a solid understanding of proposal and presentation writing. Preferred credentials are a degree in communications or marketing, knowledge of the A/E industry, familiarity with marketing best practices, strong skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, collaborative tools, and CRM systems such as Salesforce. Candidates must demonstrate initiative, strong organization, ability to work on multiple projects, discretion with confidential information, and the capacity to produce accurate, compliant deliverables independently or in teams. • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of marketing‑focused proposal experience. • Preferred: Degree in communications/marketing, knowledge of A/E industry, proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, collaborative tools, and CRM (Salesforce a plus). • Demonstrated initiative, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects with discretion.
