About the Role
The Senior Structural Engineer role serves as a technical authority on structural engineering, tackling complex problems and leading design activities. You will plan projects, supervise medium‑to‑large teams, and may act as project manager on larger initiatives while applying advanced analysis techniques and software tools. • Serve as technical expert in structural engineering, resolving complex project challenges. • Perform dynamic, non‑linear, and deep‑foundation analysis. • Utilize software such as ETABS, SAFE, Perform 3D, RAM Structural System, and Ensoft. • Plan and develop design projects and activities. • Supervise medium to large teams of professionals and technicians. • Act as Project Manager on larger projects when required.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a professional engineer license for the work location, and at least ten years of building‑design experience. Required skills include proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, RAM, AutoCAD, and other analytical tools, as well as the ability to design and detail steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems and to conduct gravity and lateral analyses. • Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis (preferred). • Over 10 years of OSHPD/HCAI experience (preferred). • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required). • Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience in building design. • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license for the job location. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar analytical software. • Experience in design calculations, layouts, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood. • Understanding of gravity and lateral analysis. • Prior experience at an architectural/engineering consulting firm.
