About the Role
CoStar’s research and analytics teams deliver real‑time, verified commercial real estate data that enables clients to identify opportunities and make informed decisions ahead of competitors. The company is seeking a Lease Abstraction Quality Control Analyst for its Real Estate Manager business unit to maintain the integrity of lease data and ensure it meets the highest quality standards. In this role, you will audit lease abstracts, provide feedback, and assist in training the Lease Abstraction Analyst team while working in an office environment Monday through Friday. • Audit lease comps for accuracy, consistency, and completeness. • Cross‑reference abstracts with original lease documents and supporting materials. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define best practices for edge cases and ambiguous lease language. • Provide constructive feedback to analysts to support learning and professional development. • Work with senior management to develop and enhance training processes and development initiatives. • Identify and improve quality‑assurance tools, processes, and workflows. • Maintain privacy and discretion with all lease data.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university or college. • Minimum 2 years experience in lease administration, lease abstraction, or similar legal document review. • Strong knowledge of commercial lease structures and terminology. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑orientation skills. • Effective written and verbal communication abilities. • Proven performance against metrics or KPIs. • Demonstrated commitment and reliability in prior roles. • Experience mentoring or training team members and sharing knowledge. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel 365. • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. • Natural curiosity, persistence, and thorough investigative research skills. • Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented. • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, or accounting. • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree with relevant coursework or experience in commercial real estate, finance, economics, construction, or contracts.
