Drivers must adhere to safety regulations, conduct required inspections, and complete necessary documentation while promptly reporting unsafe conditions, incidents, or service interruptions to management. Ongoing training, collaboration with the Operations Manager, and clear communication of customer requests help improve route efficiency and ensure clean disposal sites. • Operate heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear lift attachments. • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR reports. • Follow WM Safety, OSHA, DOT regulations and all applicable laws. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and service interruptions promptly. • Attend required training, briefings, and route-efficiency meetings. • Communicate customer requests and ensure clean disposal of receptacles. • Complete end-of-day documentation and check-out procedures.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work, and hold a Class A or Class B CDL with an air‑brake endorsement, or have equivalent military driving experience within the past seven years. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing.
