About the Role

As an Applications Engineering professional, you will prepare optimized selections and accurate technical proposals, providing pre‑sales support for HVAC equipment such as AHUs, VAV boxes, fans, split units and chillers. You will drive the application specification process, work closely with the product team, and ensure sales receive the best solutions aligned with customer requirements. Key responsibilities include system configuration validation, HVAC equipment selection for air‑side and water‑side applications, interpreting engineering drawings, generating standardized submittals, and monitoring project deliverables for quality, cost and schedule. You will advise sales on system design, develop creative solutions, and use competitor knowledge to create advantages, while collaborating with the product team on technical specification reviews and optimization strategies. In this technical executive role, you will respond to field sales inquiries, propose solutions to meet customer requirements, develop special quotation offerings, and provide cost and lead‑time estimates. You will guide the pre‑sales team on system design approaches, prepare compliance statements, and leverage your HVAC expertise to develop optimized bids. What You Bring

We seek candidates with a BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, extensive knowledge of HVAC equipment (AHU, FCU, VAV, split systems, chillers, pumps, hot water systems), and at least five years of experience in product selection, design specifications and quotations. Strong communication, problem‑solving, leadership abilities, and the ability to work independently and in multifunctional teams are essential. Preference is given to those with a mechanical engineering degree and prior applications engineering experience on air‑side and water‑side equipment. • Minimum 5 years experience in HVAC equipment product selection, design specifications, and quotation preparation. • BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; strong knowledge of HVAC systems, large refrigeration, pumps and hot water systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, leadership, and ability to work independently in multifunctional teams.
