About the Role

The Engineering Executive role is focused on achieving excellence in preventive maintenance programs for the client, while supporting the Chief Engineer and Deputy Chief Engineer in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (M&E) project scopes, quality, and deliverables. Key duties include overseeing facility, contract, and procurement management for technical services, contributing to financial targets set by the Senior Facilities Manager, and meeting key performance indicators and service level agreements. You will manage all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil maintenance activities, prepare critical spares lists, implement pre‑emptive maintenance programmes, review contractor practices, maintain logbooks and PPM schedules, and handle downtime, breakdowns, and ad‑hoc M&E setups. Reporting responsibilities involve daily M&E updates to the Chief Engineer, generating service maintenance reports, inventory and purchasing records, and incident reports for equipment downtime and breakdowns. • Lead preventive maintenance programs to meet highest standards and conserve energy • Assist Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope, ensuring quality deliverables on schedule • Oversee facility, contract and procurement management for technical services • Achieve financial targets and KPIs set by Senior Facilities Manager • Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil maintenance across the facility • Prepare and maintain critical spares inventory per manufacturer recommendations • Implement pre‑emptive maintenance to minimize equipment failures • Review and improve M&E contractor practices for quality compliance • Maintain logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all installations • Handle downtime, breakdowns and arrange ad‑hoc M&E setups as needed • Ensure contractors adhere to house rules and minimize client inconvenience • Assume AFM responsibilities and independently manage engineering shifts when required • Generate daily M&E reports, service maintenance logs, inventory/purchasing records, and incident reports

What You Bring

The role requires a tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, 3–5 years of facilities‑management experience (5+ years contract administration desirable), strong people and communication skills, knowledge of occupational safety, and solid PC literacy.
