About the Role
The role includes developing and managing project schedules, reviewing construction and contract documents for completeness and constructability, coordinating with design engineers to resolve discrepancies, and creating site logistics plans that leverage Mortenson tools and equipment. It also involves supervising project partners, craft foremen, and crews, coaching team members, ensuring proper task coding and productivity tracking, and providing high‑level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance. • Develop and manage project schedules, including three- and six-week look-ahead plans • Review construction and contract documents for completeness and constructability • Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers and resolve discrepancies • Create and implement site logistics plans using Mortenson tools and equipment • Supervise project partners, craft foremen, and crews; handle hiring, transfers, and dismissals • Coach and mentor assistant superintendents and craft team members • Ensure accurate task coding on timecards and track craft productivity • Lead safety, quality, risk, and compliance management for the project • Identify and mitigate unfavorable working conditions and improve processes • Maintain effective communication and relationships with diverse stakeholders

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or possess 10 years of trade experience, along with at least five years of construction management experience. A valid driver’s license, ability to manage multiple complex projects, detail‑oriented organization, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, strong communication and customer service abilities, and willingness to travel up to 100% are required. • Travel up to 100% as required for project needs • Possess a degree in a related field or 10 years of trade experience and at least five years of construction management experience

The position offers a base pay range of $111,400 – $167,100 (higher in select locations) and eligibility for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
