About the Role

The role being hired for is a QC Testing Technician on the A‑Shift at AAON’s Redmond facility. The technician will conduct comprehensive testing of large HVAC systems, collaborate closely with engineering and senior leadership, and contribute to AAON’s mission of delivering sustainable, high‑performance HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial indoor environments. • Perform electrical and software tests on large HVAC equipment with exposed voltages up to 1000 V AC/DC. • Assist in creating, documenting, and updating test procedures and maintain accurate test records. • Provide support to engineering staff and ensure a clean, safe work environment. • Inspect and test electrical components, leading pre‑ and post‑test assembly and disassembly for all voltage classes. • Utilize manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and collaborate with engineering personnel to troubleshoot and determine optimal solutions. • Accurately evaluate and report test data, treating clients respectfully and delivering quality results independently. • Interact effectively with engineers, senior leadership, and ensure compliance with safety practices, industry standards, and certification requirements. • Supervise, mentor, and train multiple technicians or crews as needed.
