About the Role
The role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC equipment, diagnosing performance issues through observation, refrigeration testing, and equipment setup, and reading wiring diagrams and service manuals. The technician must document work promptly using company service software on an iPad, communicate effectively with customers and the office to ensure satisfaction, manage time, follow up on assignments, and adhere to safety protocols. • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment. • Diagnose HVAC performance issues via observation, refrigeration testing, and equipment setup. • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, installation, and service manuals. • Document service work promptly using company iPad and service software. • Communicate effectively with customers and office staff to ensure satisfaction. • Manage time, follow up on assignments, and adhere to safety protocols.

What You Bring
Candidates need 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, the ability to follow a defined work scope, pass a drug screen, and hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. An EPA license is required, along with proficiency in using gauge meters, measuring instruments, and hand/power tools, and the ability to explain work performed to management and customers. All applicants will be subject to a driving background check prior to hire. • 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC experience. • Ability to follow a defined work scope. • Pass a drug screening and driving background check. • Valid driver’s license with good driving record. • EPA certification. • Proficiency with gauge meters, measuring instruments, and hand/power tools. • Capability to explain work performed to management and customers.
