About the Role

• Perform field and office tasks applying standard environmental science principles. • Conduct soil, surface water, groundwater, sediment, and other environmental sampling, including soil classification during drilling and excavation. • Supervise drillers and subcontractors on site. • Execute field projects prioritizing health and safety, completing documentation such as activity hazard analysis forms, field reports, notes, sampling records, and chain‑of‑custody forms. • Assist in geologic and environmental analyses, including hydrogeology and geochemistry, and interpret sample results within the geological context. • Prepare figures, potentiometric surface maps, geologic maps, and cross‑sections from environmental data. • Develop materials and contribute to final reports on completed field work. • Provide technical guidance to junior geologists or environmental scientists. • Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects finish on time and within budget.
