Job Highlights
About the Role
• Lead and foster a safety‑first culture across the department. • Coordinate daily production activities and enforce work standards. • Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with safety and health procedures. • Provide a clean hand‑off of information to the next shift lead. • Identify and implement improvements that add financial value. • Train employees, observe work, and coach them back to standard as needed. • Troubleshoot root‑cause issues with maintenance and department staff, leading problem‑solving efforts. • Perform preventative maintenance and corrective actions. • Collaborate with other departments to prevent and resolve problems. • Communicate instructions from the Anodize Supervisor and relay information to the team. • Execute duties assigned by the Anodize Supervisor to meet production schedules and OTIF deliveries. • Emphasize safe work practices on the Anodize line. • Build positive relationships with internal suppliers and promote teamwork. • Lead daily management meetings, track metrics, and develop improvement plans. • Drive continuous‑improvement projects to optimize processes and efficiencies. • Mentor and develop team members, set challenging goals, and provide feedback. • Administer employment policies, approve timesheets and time‑off requests, and conduct performance evaluations. • Supervise, lead, and coach co‑workers to develop their skills.
