About the Role
The position supports the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects. Working with the project team, the role involves research, development, calculations, design, and delivery, applying engineering techniques and design criteria across a range of project sizes and complexities. Current or former HNTB interns are eligible to apply. • Assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications. • Conduct research, data collection, field investigations, and develop design solutions with project teams. • Support preparation of project quantity and cost estimates. • Provide administrative support for design files and organize engineering documentation. • Complete assigned tasks within schedule and allotted hours.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. An understanding of core engineering principles, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, or comparable design software are required. A Master’s degree, Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification, and advanced MicroStation/AutoCAD skills are preferred. Positions are available in numerous locations across Georgia and Florida, including Atlanta, Jacksonville, Miami, and Orlando. Employment is limited to individuals legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of eligibility will be required.
