About the Role
The role is based in Seattle, WA and is part of the Finance family reporting to the Senior Accountant or Financial Manager at Finance Reporting HQ. It provides administrative and financial services to a profit center, supporting billing, accounts receivable, and project closeout activities. • Assist accountant to meet client contractual billing and accounts receivable requirements. • Audit client billing and project ledger for compliance with contracts, GAAP, and company policy. • Process vendor invoices and maintain up‑to‑date accounts payable for assigned projects. • Process subcontractor invoices, ensuring lien waivers, contracts, and insurance are in place. • Support monthly close by posting or accruing client bills and project costs. • Provide monthly updates on project assets and rentals for insurance documentation. • Aid in project financial closeout, verifying final contract amounts and subcontractor documentation. • Respond to internal and external audit requests.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, and proficiency with MS Office and data entry. Candidates must be organized, detail‑oriented, able to work independently or in a team, and possess solid written and verbal communication skills. Physical demands include climbing stairs, ladders, and using construction hoists, as well as occasional lifting of heavy items. The work environment is on‑site at construction locations with exposure to noise, weather, moving equipment, and potential electrical hazards. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and experience. • Demonstrate general knowledge of basic accounting principles. • Exhibit strong organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in work. • Work independently with minimal oversight and collaborate effectively in a team. • Maintain professional written and verbal communication and general office skills. • Proficient in data entry, databases, and MS Office applications.
