As a Machine Operator you will support the operation of the Safan robotic press brake and rotate throughout the fabrication area performing additional duties and operating additional equipment as needed. Core responsibilities include using computerized manufacturing technologies to guide the initial fabrication phase, positioning production materials and tooling to exact dimensions, and operating and adjusting equipment while editing programs according to production documentation. You will perform rotational assignments such as grinding, forming, welding, and spot‑welding, and carry out preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will inspect work to ensure it meets Hoffman quality standards, follow safety procedures, and actively contribute to continuous‑improvement activities. • Operate the Safan robotic press brake and rotate through fabrication tasks (grinding, forming, welding, spot‑welding). • Guide fabrication using computerized manufacturing technologies and edit machine programs per production documentation. • Position materials and tooling to exact dimensions according to print specifications. • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed. • Inspect finished parts to meet Hoffman quality and dimensional standards. • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions. • Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives as a team member.

What You Bring
You have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience of one year on CNC manufacturing equipment and at least two years in production work. Proficiency with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, and JD Edwards is desired, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, the ability to read blueprints, and the physical capacity to lift and maneuver heavy gauges of material. Adaptability to a rapidly changing business environment is essential. • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred: 1 year CNC equipment experience and 2 years production experience. • Proficiency with Windows Office suite and JD Edwards; strong analytical, problem‑solving, and blueprint‑reading skills. • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy gauges of material.
