About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program, handling corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, and contributes to the make‑ready process. • Attend the community daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units • Perform and log swimming‑pool maintenance, chemical balancing, and regular cleaning • Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and other features to identify and correct hazardous conditions • Execute preventative‑maintenance tasks to extend property life and reduce future repairs • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked and compliant with safety and OSHA standards • Support the Maintenance Supervisor with hazard‑communication programs, inventory monitoring, and on‑call emergency response • Participate in unit inspections, make‑ready turnover events and general upkeep of offices, common areas and model units • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround times and uphold community policies • Maintain accurate records of service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventative maintenance and work‑in‑progress • Follow Asset Living policies, use equipment and supplies efficiently, and perform additional tasks as directed

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills for on‑site software • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements • Ability to climb ladders, lift 100+ lb objects, work in confined spaces, and operate power tools, machinery, vehicles and golf carts • Availability for overtime, weekends, night‑on‑call emergencies and exposure to outdoor weather and hazardous chemicals • Reliable transportation for on‑call emergency response
