About the Role

The position promotes CHANCE® tools and related products through hands‑on demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions. Representing the company at live line training schools, collaborative meetings, trade shows, utility‑owned utilities, and other customer events is a core responsibility. The role is ideally based in the Midwestern or Northeastern United States and may require up to 70 % travel, both domestic and international. Daily activities involve conducting live‑line tool demonstrations up to 500 kV, delivering classroom and field training, and leading seminars on equipotential grounding, tool care, and testing. The employee also supports line‑technician schools, maintains a stocked demonstration trailer, and attends industry meetings as needed while consistently representing the CHANCE brand professionally. • Provide distribution and transmission live line tool demonstrations and training up to 500 kV. • Conduct classroom and field training, including climbing structures or bucket work. • Lead seminars on equipotential grounding, tool care, maintenance, testing, and related live line topics. • Deliver detailed sales and application training to HPS customers, distributors, and sales representatives on CHANCE tools. • Support Line Technician Schools and Training Events with demonstration trailer and tool samples. • Maintain trailer organization and stock tool samples and literature for promotions. • Attend trade shows and industry meetings as needed. • Report technical and competitive developments and customer requirements. • Stay informed of applicable state and federal safety regulations. • Represent the CHANCE brand and HPS professionally on and off the job.

What You Bring

Success in this role requires a minimum of 15 years’ experience as a Journeyman Lineman, extensive work with distribution and transmission voltages, and proficiency in live‑line rubber gloving, hot‑sticking, bare‑handing, and temporary grounding. Candidates must be comfortable working from structures and buckets, have a proven track record of training others, possess a valid CDL, and be able to travel up to 70 % of the year. Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is advantageous, and the physical demands include lifting up to 75 lb and climbing utility poles or towers. • Travel domestically and internationally up to 70 % of the year. • Speak and present to small and large groups. • Minimum 15 years experience as a Journeyman Lineman. • Extensive hands‑on experience with distribution and transmission voltages, substations, and underground systems. • Proficiency in live line rubber gloving, hot‑sticking, bare‑handing, and temporary grounding. • Experience working from structures and buckets. • Proven ability to train other linemen. • Ability to travel up to 70 % and work remotely. • Valid CDL required. • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lb, climb poles/towers, and use hand tools.
