About the Role

The Human Resources Manager reports to the Area Director, Human Resources, and serves as a business partner to local management. With limited direction, the manager oversees the full HR function for assigned divisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and company programs while supporting strategic HR initiatives. Key responsibilities include providing HR advice and coaching on performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation; implementing and monitoring policies across training, compensation, compliance, and benefits; and maintaining employee records such as personal data, pay, attendance, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions. The manager ensures division compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, coordinates hiring, employee relations, and terminations with corporate HR, conducts investigations of employee complaints, and participates in management meetings to influence personnel decisions. Additional duties involve identifying training needs, developing and delivering orientation and leadership programs, performing HR audits, implementing succession planning and talent management, supervising HR or administrative staff as needed, and traveling up to 60% of the time. • Advise and coach employees and managers on performance, conflict, and policy matters. • Implement and monitor HR policies, training, compensation, compliance, and benefits programs. • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal data, payroll, attendance, and disciplinary actions. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. • Coordinate hiring, employee relations, compliance, and terminations with corporate HR. • Conduct investigations of employee complaints and support resolution. • Participate in management meetings and influence personnel decisions. • Identify training gaps, develop and deliver orientation and leadership training. • Perform HR audits, succession planning, and talent management initiatives. • Supervise HR and administrative staff as needed; travel up to 60% of the time. • Provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. • Offer health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Offer an Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP). • Include an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include the ability to influence all levels of the organization and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager handling all HR functions.
