About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The role also involves installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document all work. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, including belts, motors, sensors, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders while tracking labor hours, parts, and equipment maintenance. • Maintain and track department inventory of supplies and parts. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Communicate effectively with team members across the operations facility. • Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance for at least 2 years. • Work flexible schedules and shifts as required. • Travel 6–12 miles daily between departments and properties to perform work.

What You Bring
The position requires physical capabilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts and lifting up to 50 lb, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Work includes moving between departments and properties, covering 6‑12 miles daily, and spending 1–2 hours at a computer for data entry. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • Read blueprints and electrical schematics for a minimum of 1 year. • Apply knowledge of electrical and electronic principles for at least 1 year. • Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Preferred: Associate degree or higher in mechanical or electrical field. • Familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines. • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. • Physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, and operate an aerial lift. • Wear required personal protective equipment, such as hard hat, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
