About the Role

The engineer will lead small M&S projects, support software development, and work with the analytic team lead to execute study plans. Collaboration with military subject matter experts and DARPA program managers is essential to model combat systems, kill chains, and command‑and‑control relationships in the simulation environment, as well as to design and run experiment scenarios and produce high‑quality deliverables. • Lead small modeling & simulation projects and teams. • Support M&S and software development for DARPA studies. • Collaborate with military SMEs and DARPA managers to define architectures. • Design and implement experiment scenarios within the simulation environment. • Produce high‑quality analytical reports and deliverables.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a B.S. in Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related STEM field with eight years of experience (or an M.S. with six years), at least five years of proven AFSIM proficiency, and programming skills in C++ or Python. An active Top‑Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatory. Desired credentials are a M.S. with eight years of experience, expertise in model‑based systems engineering tools such as CAMEO, and familiarity with SysML. • Instantiate combat system, platform, kill chain, and C2 models in AFSIM. • Hold a B.S. (8 yrs exp) or M.S. (6 yrs exp) in Computer Science, Operations Research, or related STEM field. • Minimum 5 years of proven AFSIM expertise; other combat modeling tools considered. • Proficient in C++, Python, or equivalent programming languages. • Active Top‑Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. • Desired: M.S. with 8 yrs experience, CAMEO, and SysML knowledge. • Full‑time onsite role, 0‑20 % travel, 40 hrs/week.
