About the Role
The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, following all OSHA, DOT, and local regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. Key duties include conducting pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report, reporting unsafe situations, participating in scheduled training, collaborating with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency, assisting fellow drivers, and promptly notifying management of incidents or customer issues. Drivers also dump containers cleanly, position them correctly on customer property, submit necessary tickets, and complete all route documentation at the end of the day. • Operate vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the DVIR and document issues. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage immediately. • Attend all required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other company drivers as directed. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump containers cleanly, remove debris, and position containers safely on customer property. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow assigned routes and complete all required documentation at route end.

What You Bring
Qualifications require a Commercial Driver’s License Class B, a minimum age of 18, an acceptable driving record, and successful completion of a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and motor vehicle record review. No prior work experience is needed.
