About the Role
The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty commercial truck on swing routes, navigating residential, commercial and construction environments while delivering and repositioning containers. Drivers are expected to adhere to all OSHA, DOT, and local regulations, conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report, and promptly report unsafe conditions or service issues to the route manager or dispatch. They must attend scheduled training, collaborate with route managers to improve efficiency, and handle incidents, accidents, or property damage according to protocol. Additional duties include communicating customer requests, fully dumping containers, keeping customer sites clean, positioning containers properly, and completing required documentation at the end of each route. • Operate the vehicle according to OSHA, DOT, and company standards, maintaining a clean and safe truck. • Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the DVIR and report any issues for repair. • Report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, or property damage to the route manager or dispatch promptly. • Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required. • Work with route managers to improve route efficiency and address problem or unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers as directed and follow route assignments throughout the day. • Communicate customer requests or issues to dispatch or the route manager. • Fully dump containers, keep customer sites clean, and position containers properly to avoid blocking driveways. • Complete and submit customer tickets and all required documentation at the end of each route.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Class B CDL with at least two years of recent driving experience (or equivalent military experience), be at least 18 years old, and be legally authorized to work in the United States. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking and hearing activities, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
