Field Services Representative (2 Year Term)

About the Role

• Verify meters, troubleshoot issues, and perform manual meter readings. • Install meters and load‑limiting devices; remove meters on delinquent accounts. • Order, receive, and maintain meter inventory as needed. • Conduct system audits such as map updates, streetlight counts, lights‑out patrols, and asset verifications. • Assist with traffic control around construction worksites. • Support construction inspections per clear instructions, including underground trench checks. • Assist Power Line Technicians with power‑line inspection and maintenance (no pole climbing required). • Provide administrative support for field staff, such as line patrol documentation. • Utilize ATCO‑CCS and related software programs. • Complete plant checks and other duties as required. • Maintain a valid, appropriate vehicle operator’s licence.

What You Bring

• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent. • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and mainframe applications. • Possess experience in customer service and/or office administration. • Demonstrate accurate data entry and word processing skills. • Mapping skills are considered an asset. • Apply strong mathematical, reasoning, interpersonal, and communication abilities. • Be willing to travel as required and complete First Aid and CPR training.

Benefits

The compensation package includes a starting salary of $2,665.60 bi‑weekly, flexible benefits from day one, a 5.2% northern allowance, a $680 per month northern allowance, and an additional five days of vacation for positions north of 60 degrees.
