QA/QC Advisor
Lead engineering for supply, fabrication, installation and commissioning on an underground project.

About the Role
The Project Engineer will be hands‑on, solving problems, managing stakeholders and driving outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on safety, collaboration and continuous improvement. • Engineer supply, fabrication, installation and commissioning activities for the Olympic Dam underground project. • Conduct design reviews and constructability assessments to support project planning. • Provide documentation, compliance and coordination support to construction teams under the UGL Management System. • Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers on engineering, procurement and delivery matters. • Manage project schedules, cost tracking and productivity monitoring, including contractor timesheet and claim approvals. • Oversee commissioning processes, MOC workflows and continuous improvement initiatives. • Utilise SAP and project reporting tools for cost control and forecasting. • Lead safety initiatives aligned with Olympic Dam core safety behaviours and HSEC responsibilities. • Communicate effectively in planning meetings, shutdown coordination and stakeholder engagement. • Drive operational discipline, support audits and improve project team efficiency.

What You Bring
Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge across engineering disciplines, experience in project planning, design reviews, constructability assessments, and the ability to support construction teams with documentation and compliance under the UGL Management System. Proficiency in SAP, project reporting tools, schedule and cost tracking, as well as familiarity with commissioning, MOC workflows and safety leadership, is required. • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across engineering disciplines. • Possess experience in project planning, design reviews and constructability assessments. • Show proficiency in SAP and cost‑control reporting. • Ability to thrive in a high‑performance, collaborative environment.
