About the Role
The role involves conducting field observations, testing and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete, performing routine laboratory tests, and ensuring data collection and calculations adhere to industry standards. Technicians will maintain daily communication with contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers, attend project meetings, and manage field equipment, promptly reporting any broken or missing items. • Conduct field observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete. • Perform routine laboratory tests following industry standards. • Calculate and reduce data from samples and test results. • Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers. • Report site condition changes and additional testing needs to supervisors. • Attend project meetings and assist with equipment organization and maintenance. • Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings per engineering practices. • Pursue professional development through certifications (OSHA 10, ACI, ASNT, etc.).
