About the Role

In this role, the incumbent oversees nursing and assisted‑living staff, ensures adherence to federal and state regulations, and coordinates ancillary support services for residents. The manager also acts as a liaison to families, healthcare agencies, and emergency response teams. • Coordinate and manage nursing and assisted living staff to deliver direct resident care. • Recommend staffing levels, recruit, select, and orient new team members. • Assign daily tasks to meet residents’ needs and ensure regulatory compliance. • Conduct resident assessments and adjust care plans as needed. • Order, store, administer, document, and dispose of medications per regulations. • Participate in RN on‑call coverage and coordinate ancillary support services. • Provide competency training and first‑aid assistance for client care aides. • Act as liaison with families, healthcare agencies, emergency teams, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold an active New Jersey RN license, possess at least two years of supervisory experience in senior or assisted‑living settings, and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications. Physical duties include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb, and using proper body mechanics. • Hold an active NJ RN license and at least two years supervisory experience in senior/assisted living. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new computer applications. • Able to lift/carry up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks using proper body mechanics.

The Senior Living Health & Wellness Manager reports to the Health & Wellness Director and serves as the acting director in their absence. The position offers a salary range of $80,000 – $85,000 annually and is classified as a salaried exempt role.
