About the Role

The role involves overseeing bridge projects from identification through construction, supporting business development, and mentoring structural staff while ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, and quality objectives aligned with company strategy. • Ensure successful delivery of bridge projects under management. • Oversee full project lifecycle: identification, pursuit, contracting, design development, and construction support. • Drive business development through client marketing, proposal preparation, and networking events. • Lead and mentor structural staff. • Plan, organize, and supervise project team workload. • Monitor project costs to stay within budget and meet schedule, quality, and strategic goals. • Established network with NYSDOT, NYS Thruway Authority, municipal clients, and contractors.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a civil/structural engineering degree (master’s preferred), be a NY‑licensed PE, and possess at least ten years of bridge design or management experience, along with a strong network of New York State bridge owners and familiarity with AASHTO specifications. • Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering (master’s preferred). • Minimum 10 years of bridge design or management experience. • Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York (or reciprocal). • Knowledge of AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and Federal‑Aid delivery process. • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets. • Familiarity with construction engineering, AREMA rail bridge design, or design‑build procurement (plus). • Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win new work. • Capability to collaborate with team members in other offices. • Proficient in English for written and verbal communication.

The position offers a salary range of $103,000 to $166,800 per year, depending on qualifications, and includes a comprehensive compensation package.
