About the Role

The Senior Systems Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency’s Defense of Guam program, providing senior‑level systems engineering expertise to integrate missile‑defense elements and protect a strategic location. This role involves guiding technical efforts across multiple domains, ensuring alignment with MDA objectives, and representing the Government customer in various forums and working groups. • Conduct integrated analysis of DoG flight, ground, and SICO test events. • Support engineering milestones (PDR, CDR, TRR) and technical assessments. • Coordinate schedules and resolve issues with MDA stakeholders. • Advise on secure system design, risk identification, and mitigation. • Lead technical interchange meetings and track actions. • Produce executive briefings, technical papers, and correspondence for senior leaders. • Facilitate GENser, SAP‑level meetings and video conferences. • Represent the Government customer in IPTs and working groups. • Utilize DOORS, Windchill, and Qlik for system analysis and coordination. • Manage system security compliance and integrate cybersecurity inputs.

What You Bring

• 12+ years of missile‑defense systems engineering experience. • Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and active Secret clearance. • Deep knowledge of MDA processes, system architecture, and elements such as Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, C2BMC. • Familiarity with secure development, configuration management, and cyber‑informed engineering. • Experience with ETM‑2 and handling Congressional or routine taskers. • Strong independent work ethic and effective communication across technical teams. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to deliver senior‑level technical briefings. • Background in secure system development and cybersecurity‑informed practices (desired). • Additional Bachelor’s degree in STEM (desired).
