About the Role

The HR Coordinator handles benefits administration, uniform program management, and daily calculation of production bonuses across all departments. Additional duties include ordering lunches and promotional items, scheduling training, maintaining personnel records, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and orientation. The role also serves as a backup for weekly payroll processing, tax payments, and reporting. Safety is the top priority at Nucor, and all employees must actively initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. What You Bring

Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree in HR or a related field, or 2‑3 years of relevant HR experience. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS software. Applicants must not have a relative working at the Nucor Steel Marion division per company policy. Preferred qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline, prior HR experience in a manufacturing setting, and familiarity with SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar HRIS platforms. These credentials enhance the candidate’s ability to manage complex HR functions within the steel industry. • Required: Associate’s degree in HR or related field or 2‑3 years HR experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, HR experience in manufacturing, SAP/SuccessFactors knowledge.
