About the Role

The Estimating Hub delivers a range of outputs—including estimate production, estimating assurance, support for major programme set-up and data analysis—to help clients make informed decisions. Estimators act as embedded resources for client organisations or on an ad-hoc basis across multiple projects. The role involves producing accurate cost estimates, managing the estimating process at project level, and contributing to departmental objectives while promoting best-practice methodologies. • Produce accurate, comprehensive estimates and cost plans for infrastructure projects. • Manage the estimating process at project level without supervision. • Gather, share and analyse estimating data to support client decision‑making. • Promote and develop estimating best practices within the firm. • Contribute to departmental objectives and stay updated on technical developments.

What You Bring

To meet growing demand, Turner & Townsend is recruiting Estimators and Senior Estimators with proven experience in infrastructure sectors such as rail, highways, power, marine, water or utilities. Opportunities are based in the Midlands, supporting major programmes and portfolios from our Birmingham and Nottingham offices. Estimators may work on-site with regional clients or remotely on national and international tasks as required. Candidates must hold a high-standard qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying, possess large-project experience, and be proficient with estimating software. Membership of a chartered professional body such as RICS, CIOB or A.C.E. is required or forthcoming. • Hold a high-standard qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with large‑project experience. • Demonstrate proficiency with estimating software packages. • Be a member of, or working towards membership of, a chartered professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, A.C.E.).
