About the Role

• Ensure adherence to PSE safety compliance standards and operating procedures. • Promote and maintain a culture of total safety across all activities. • Perform duties in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. • Review, analyze, and resolve field construction issues, discrepancies with standards, design, and specifications. • Coordinate contractor activities, provide oversight, and facilitate project completion. • Manage construction activities including solution identification, limited inspection, payment approval, performance feedback, and proposal review. • Ensure compliance with budget, schedule, design, standards, contractual agreements, and construction requirements. • Collaborate with project team to develop constructible designs. • Lead change order process, negotiate pricing, and make time‑and‑materials decisions.

What You Bring

The position is classified as safety‑sensitive and requires compliance with PSE’s safety standards, operating procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements, including pre‑employment drug screening. • Minimum qualifications: BS in engineering, construction management, a related field, or 2 years of field experience; knowledge of utility operations; basic computer skills; strong written and verbal communication and problem‑solving abilities; ability to work both in office and on‑site. • Desired qualifications: 6 years of experience with major complex construction; BS degree in a technical field or equivalent; in‑depth knowledge of utility operations, standards, and construction practices; working knowledge of estimating, material procurement, scheduling, rates & tariffs, and project accounting.
