About the Role
The Operations Specialist for Collections provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental managers and helps coordinate all aspects of daily operations within WM’s collections division. Key duties include troubleshooting safety, service, and operational issues; maintaining and distributing daily departmental information; acting as the KRONOS proxy for driver and helper schedule updates; and using Microsoft Suite and other tools for procurement, time‑and‑attendance, safety incident tracking, and contract‑labor management. The specialist also assists with payment processing, supports operational project implementation, and communicates with customers about service concerns and with employees about scheduling and work assignments. • Troubleshoot and resolve safety, service, and operational issues. • Maintain and distribute daily departmental information. • Act as KRONOS proxy for driver and helper schedule updates. • Use Microsoft Suite and other software for procurement, time‑and‑attendance, safety incidents, and contract‑labor management. • Assist with payment processing and other financial tasks. • Support implementation of operational projects as needed. • Communicate with customers about service issues and with employees about scheduling and work assignments.
