About the Role
As a Cleaner at Velociti Services, you will join the frontline team delivering commercial cleaning at client sites. The position focuses on standard custodial and janitorial duties such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal. • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures • Perform work assignments in a team with other employees • Maintain clean work area • Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules • Take direction and respond to supervision • Communicate with the lead, supervisor, co‑workers, managers, and customers professionally • Fill in during staff shortage • Support shift lead in completing punch‑list items • Use proper personal protective equipment • Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms • Emptying trash and transporting to proper disposal area • Sweeping and mopping floors • Build respectful relationships with all teammates and guests • Coordinate activities with other internal departments • Participate in team meetings • Understand that safety is a top priority and comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures • Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds • Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments • Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
