About the Role
The Lead Software Engineer provides technical leadership, architecture design, and mentorship for high‑quality software solutions that advance Constellation’s digital strategy. Working independently and with up to five direct reports and external partners, the engineer aligns business needs with technical direction and contributes to strategic planning. • Lead the full software development lifecycle for new products, from requirements to deployment. • Ensure code quality, security, scalability, and adherence to internal standards and SDLC methodologies. • Collaborate with business, technical, and architecture stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals. • Optimize team workflows and performance to improve delivery efficiency. • Stay current on emerging tools and technologies, recommending process and DevOps improvements. • Manage, mentor, and develop the software team, overseeing hiring, training, performance, and culture.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a relevant computer science degree and possesses extensive experience in application development, cloud platforms, and agile delivery. Leadership, problem‑solving, and communication abilities are essential for success in this role. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 8–10 years of application development experience. • Strong expertise in C#.NET, Angular, CX/UX, REST APIs, Postman, Selenium, and Azure cloud‑native development. • Deep knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and digital product development. • Proven experience leading and managing IT projects or sub‑teams.

The expected salary for this role ranges from $158,400 to $176,000 plus the full benefits package.
