Perform bridge structural design, calculations, inspections, and coordination

About the Role
• Participate in bridge designs, develop design plans, and perform structural load calculations and quantity takeoffs. • Review shop drawings and field submittals. • Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques to support bridge design and other disciplines. • Conduct bridge inspections and construction observations as needed. • Work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

What You Bring
• Experience with MS Office, MathCAD, AutoCAD, LARSA, and prestressed concrete design. • Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred; new graduates considered. • Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and other DOT guidelines. • Willingness to collaborate across disciplines such as roadway design, hydraulic analysis, and environmental services. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field. • Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and engineering software (e.g., LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB‑MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD, STLBridge). • Experience with Bentley OpenBridge Modeler and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3D. • Strong computer skills for structural layout and design. • Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
