Sales Excellence Data Intern

About the Role

The Sales Excellence Data Intern will support the Sales Excellence team by assisting with reporting, dashboard development, and data analysis activities. This role provides hands‑on experience working with business stakeholders and analytics tools to improve reporting, data quality, and decision‑making across the organization. The intern will work under the guidance of experienced analysts and managers to learn how business requirements are translated into reporting solutions. • Build and enhance dashboards and reports using modern BI tools • Prepare data for reporting and analysis • Gather and document business reporting requirements • Collaborate with Sales Excellence and IT to validate data accuracy and consistency • Perform data validation and quality checks • Test dashboards and reports before release • Document reporting logic, definitions, and best practices • Create training materials or user guides for reports and dashboards • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and basic insights for stakeholders

What You Bring

The position is based in Broomfield, CO, and is open to candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Preferred experience includes exposure to SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools, as well as familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or sales processes. • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Foundational understanding of data concepts or interest in data modeling • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office • Ability to manage time and meet project milestones with guidance • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field • Exposure to SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools (preferred) • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools (a plus) • Familiarity with sales processes (a plus)
