About the Role
You’ll play a key role in automating infrastructure, managing cloud environments, and optimising the software delivery process. You’ll be working remotely, with occasional visits to our sites in Redditch or Cirencester. • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment. • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and other IaC tools. • Manage AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS, RDS, VPC, S3) for scalable, cost‑effective solutions. • Collaborate cross‑functionally to support smooth product launches and updates. • Monitor environments and applications to ensure availability, performance, and reliability. • Ensure security and compliance via secrets management, access control, and vulnerability remediation. • Participate in incident management, including root‑cause analysis and out‑of‑hours support.

Arcus FM are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team, helping to bridge the gap between development and operations. • 2+ years of DevOps engineering experience. • Hands‑on expertise with AWS, Terraform, and Docker. • Proficient with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins. • Scripting skills in Bash or Python. • Background in Linux/Unix system administration. • Experience with monitoring tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, PagerDuty. • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps processes and tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence. • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities. • Automation‑first mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • AWS Associate certification(s). • Terraform Associate certification. • Experience with container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
