About the Role
The Aftermarket Regional Account Manager / Engineer – Industrial Gas will partner with the Aftermarket Segment Sales Manager to monetize the installed base and expand aftermarket and maintenance services within an assigned region. The role focuses on building customer relationships, uncovering unmet needs, and developing sales plans that exceed quota, requiring strong sales, negotiation, and entrepreneurial skills. • Manage all sales activities and maintain a robust pipeline within the assigned territory. • Build and sustain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships to maximize value. • Respond to customer inquiries and RFQs promptly, identifying new business opportunities. • Acquire in‑depth product knowledge to demonstrate value and address concerns. • Develop and implement regional sales plans that drive growth. • Track and report pipeline, funnel, and bookings using Salesforce CRM. • Collaborate with aftermarket sales, marketing, and customer service teams. • Participate in sales training and seminars to enhance skills and industry knowledge. • Deliver client presentations and craft tailored product solutions. • Lead contract negotiations and finalize agreements. • Serve as a brand ambassador at industry events and trade shows. • Effective project management to meet deadlines and quality standards. • Work primarily from home with occasional travel to client or job sites.

What You Bring
The position is based at home but may require travel to client sites, production facilities, or job sites. Employees must complete safety training, wear approved PPE, and may work overtime, including weekends or holidays, as workload dictates. • Expertise in sales principles, territory and account management, and CRM tools. • Ability to discover unmet client needs and create compelling aftermarket solutions. • Strong commitment to customer focus and long‑term relationship building. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Rapid technical proficiency on Nikkiso products and services. • Problem‑solving skills to overcome objections and challenges. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue. • Superior time‑management and organizational abilities. • Minimum associate degree; bachelor’s in a technical field preferred. • Professional fluency in English; Spanish a plus. • 5+ years of account management, sales, or business development in cryogenic equipment, pumps, or rotating equipment. • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate cross‑functionally. • Ability to lift up to 42 lb, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment.
