About the Role
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager by overseeing daily operations, financial functions, and staff performance, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair‑housing regulations, and stepping in to manage all aspects of the property when needed. • Post and reconcile daily payments, manage accounts receivable, and handle bad debt including notices and evictions. • Perform end‑of‑month closing, generate financial reports, and maintain accurate resident records. • Supervise on‑site staff, handle hiring, training, coaching, and ensure compliance with company policies. • Oversee leasing processes, implement marketing plans, address resident complaints, and run retention programs. • Manage customer service, monitor maintenance request response times, and conduct regular property inspections. • Plan and control property resources, obtain vendor bids, and ensure timely repairs.

What You Bring
• Hold a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) with 1‑2 years of housing industry experience; knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA required. • Demonstrate proficiency with onsite software and basic computer skills. • Physically able to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, climb ladders, operate equipment, and work overtime, weekends, or emergencies.
