About the Role

The role involves selecting sheet‑metal types per plans, measuring and marking dimensions, drilling holes, installing and bending ductwork, setting hangers, trimming, fitting, hanging, sealing, and fastening seams by welding, bolting, riveting or soldering, both on‑site and in‑shop. • Select sheet‑metal types per building or design plans. • Measure, mark, and drill metal sheets for dimensions and fasteners. • Install, bend, and secure ductwork, including setting hangers and trimming. • Fabricate or modify parts on‑site or in‑shop, anchoring large metal components. • Fasten seams using welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering. • Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
