About the Role
The VDC Project Manager leads and directs the day‑to‑day management of the BIM‑based process, making the project “digitally first” on the job. This role reports to the Senior Project Manager or Project Executive and has a dotted‑line relationship with the VDC Manager for coordination and support. • Manage and oversee BIM field operation and engineering processes and procedures. • Supervise, train, coach, and mentor high‑performance teams; provide regular feedback and complete performance appraisals. • Collaborate with operations management to select BIM tools and processes for each job, ensuring proper resource allocation, and attend Operation Review meetings. • Work with the project manager to ensure quality assurance/control through model leveraging. • Lead risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee, and pricing decisions for BIM‑based project scope. • Enforce safety protocols via BIM modeling for task pre‑planning. • Develop and improve client relationships, fostering a trusted‑advisor status. • Advise, interpret, and enforce Turner’s contract and subcontract agreements related to model use, transfer, and data fidelity. • Foster and enhance relations with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least ten years of related experience, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience. They need thorough knowledge of construction BIM tools and applications in cost, scheduling, estimating, and coordination, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and expertise in Navisworks Manage, Trimble SketchUp, and Autodesk Revit. Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules are also required. The position requires occasional physical activities such as climbing stairs or ladders, negotiating work areas under construction, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment is on‑site at construction locations, exposing the employee to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, weather conditions, and potential electrical hazards, with noise levels ranging from moderate to very loud.

Benefits
