About the Role
Each day you will service trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers across the United States, using modern tools and procedures to maintain diesel and, at some locations, CNG trucks. Your work directly supports the local community and demands a high level of skill and determination. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on various vehicles • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on vehicles to protect employees and community • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Assist senior mechanics with project work • Review, complete, or assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area compliant with OSHA and corporate standards
