About the Role
The role focuses on process piping within engineering consultancy projects for chemical, pharmaceutical, and bulk‑drug sectors. Responsibilities include preparing equipment layouts, material specifications, piping mark‑ups, and ensuring quality across 2D and 3D deliverables. • Prepare equipment layouts for process areas and tank farms under senior engineer guidance. • Develop piping and valve material specifications and datasheets for specialty items. • Create layout drawings for process plant buildings, utility structures, and tank farms. • Guide designers on nozzle orientation and piping mark‑ups. • Review and check isometric drawings, including system isos. • Calculate piping material take‑offs (MTO) and subcontractor quantities (SOQ). • Verify alignment with other disciplines’ 3D/2D deliverables. • Perform quality checks on all piping‑related deliverables before submission.

What You Bring
We seek candidates with a BE/ME in Mechanical, consultancy experience in chemical or pharmaceutical industries, and knowledge of ASME, API, and related codes. Strong communication, teamwork, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MS Office are essential. • Hold a BE or ME in Mechanical from a reputable university. • Possess consultancy experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. • Know piping codes and standards such as ASME and API. • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. • Work effectively both independently and within a team. • Be proficient in preparing 3D piping layouts and reviewing models in Navisworks. • Skilled in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
