About the Role

The Adelaide Planning Team plays a pivotal role in designing, approving, and delivering major transport, infrastructure and master‑planning projects across South Australia and beyond, leveraging AECOM’s global expertise. • Prepare and manage development applications for large‑scale projects • Assist with Master Plans, Strategic Plans and Code Amendments • Support major transport, infrastructure and renewable energy initiatives • Lead stakeholder consultation and engagement processes • Provide timely, accurate client‑focused planning advice • Ensure project scope, budgets, timelines and quality in a commercial setting

What You Bring

• Degree in Urban, Environmental or related planning discipline • 7+ years statutory and strategic planning experience, including South Australian system • Strong knowledge of planning legislation, schemes and policy frameworks • Proven project or workstream management, meeting budgets and deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at engaging clients and authorities
