About the Role

The opportunity helps electrify a sustainable future. At Hitachi Energy you will lead the North America BIM function that accelerates grid modernization—connecting renewable generation, strengthening transmission and distribution, and enabling resilient substations with model‑based delivery. You will champion ISO 19650‑aligned workflows, orchestrate multi‑disciplinary models, and turn data into decisions across the project lifecycle from tendering to handover and service. You will partner with engineering, projects, and product teams to implement BIM Execution Plans, streamline clash detection, and integrate models into digital twin solutions for transparent progress tracking and performance insights. Using Autodesk tools such as BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, you will standardize information flows, build repeatable processes, and coach teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost‑effective outcomes. • Lead the North America BIM team, elevating skills, processes and performance. • Define and deploy BIM Execution Plans across diverse grid projects. • Coordinate model federation, clash detection and issue resolution. • Standardize data structures and naming conventions in line with ISO 19650. • Integrate BIM outputs with digital‑twin dashboards and key performance indicators. • Deliver pre‑BEPs and time estimates during the tendering phase. • Coach internal teams and partners on BIM tools and best practices. • Drive continuous improvement and evaluate new BIM technologies. • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
