Entry-level field tech conducting testing of soils, aggregates and concrete with paid training.

About the Role
The technician will perform field activities such as observing, testing, and sampling soils, aggregates, and concrete on project sites, follow testing procedures in line with industry standards, and conduct data reduction and calculations. They will also maintain daily communication with contractors, technicians, and project managers, report site conditions, attend meetings, and help manage field equipment. • Conduct on‑site observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete. • Perform routine field and laboratory tests using industry‑standard methods and equipment. • Calculate and reduce test data, assist with drafting and administrative tasks as needed. • Communicate daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers; report site changes and equipment issues. • Participate in training, attend project meetings, and maintain organized field equipment.

What You Bring
Employees receive training in ECS methodology, document findings per engineering practice, and are encouraged to pursue internal and external certifications (OSHA 10, ACI, ASNT, etc.) as their experience grows. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift at least 85 lb, a valid driver’s license with insurance, strong written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to learn construction safety and CMT principles. OSHA 10 certification may be required. • Must lift 85 lb, hold a valid driver’s license, and possess strong communication skills.
