About the Role
Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Senior Buyer to pioneer the next generation of innovation. In this role you will develop your skills to the highest levels while working in an international environment for a globally renowned company. You will be responsible for managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, and cost‑saving initiatives. • Process purchasing award summaries and related documents. • Assist in developing commodity team strategies aligned with global purchasing and logistics objectives. • Develop sourcing lists and monitor supplier performance. • Resolve pricing, invoicing, and contract issues with suppliers. • Negotiate pricing, terms, and annual contracts. • Analyze supplier cost and benchmark competition. • Communicate with internal departments, management, and suppliers. • Support cost‑savings initiatives and standardized digital processes. • Forecast annual material volumes, savings, tooling and repair budgets. • Maintain housekeeping practices and uphold confidentiality and compliance with the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct.

What You Bring
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Materials Management, Business Finance, or related field with 5 years (or 9 years without degree) of procurement/supply‑chain experience. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis. • Handle confidential matters with discretion and possess strong negotiation skills. • Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing practices, financial/cost analysis, and problem‑solving for complex issues. • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, and communication skills. • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering documents. • Self‑starter capable of working independently. • Knowledge of production planning, supply chain, or materials management processes. • Proficient with PC, MS Office, and SAP. • Familiarity with off‑highway diesel‑engine commodities; engineering or technical degree and German language skills are a plus.
