Production Service Technician - Huntsville

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced handyman to drive our service truck, perform hourly work, and earn additional commissions on bi‑weekly pay. The Service Tech will accurately measure, repair, and assess products such as gutters, windows, vinyl siding, bath and shower remodels, and attic insulation. Responsibilities include assisting the Production Manager, maintaining and servicing the company vehicle, supporting installation teams, and handling warehouse tasks like cleaning, organizing, and preparing materials when service calls are complete. The role also requires providing complete client feedback, upholding 100 % customer satisfaction, and arriving on time ready to work. Additional duties are assigned as needed. • Drive the company truck and perform service calls for gutters, windows, siding, remodels, and insulation. • Take accurate measurements and provide repairs and assessments for homeowners. • Assist the Production Manager and maintain the company vehicle. • Support installation teams or work independently on install jobs. • Perform warehouse tasks such as cleaning, organizing, unloading trucks, and prepping materials when service schedule allows. • Deliver high‑level customer satisfaction and provide complete feedback after each job.

What You Bring

Candidates must be self‑starters with superior attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and flexibility to work evenings or occasional Saturdays are required. Required experience includes carpentry, trim carpentry, construction, or in‑home renovation; metal brake experience is a plus. Proficiency with computer office equipment, measurement tools, and power tools is essential, as is the ability to lift or move up to 100 lb and perform basic math calculations. The ability to follow detailed written, illustrated, or oral instructions is also necessary. • Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and occasional Saturdays. • Carpentry, trim carpentry, construction, or in‑home renovation experience required; metal brake experience is a plus. • Proficient with computer office equipment, measurement tools (tape measure, level, combination square), and power tools. • Able to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lb and perform basic math calculations.
