About the Role

As the on‑site project leader, you will plan, execute and close projects for assigned customers, handling hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning and warranty execution while ensuring safety and cost‑effectiveness. You will manage project finances—including costs, billing and collections—pursue change orders, direct subcontractors and technical staff, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and Johnson Controls standards. Communication with customers throughout all phases and providing detailed design and operational information are also essential. The position requires overseeing material procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor payments via web‑based tools, validating system functionality, producing as‑built documentation, and coaching technicians. You will also develop long‑term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants and subcontractors while maintaining rigorous safety practices. • Lead on‑site projects from planning through closeout, ensuring safety and cost‑effectiveness • Design hardware, program systems, coordinate installations and commission networks • Manage project financials—costs, billing, collections—and pursue change orders • Direct subcontractors, electricians, technicians and designers while meeting regulatory standards • Communicate with customers throughout all project phases to maintain satisfaction • Oversee material procurement, budgeting, scheduling and subcontractor payments via web‑based tools • Validate system functionality, resolve issues and produce as‑built and commissioning documentation • Coach and mentor technical staff and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants and subcontractors

What You Bring

Candidates must hold at least a technical associate’s degree with two‑plus years of field experience (LSS I) or four‑plus years (LSS II), possess relevant Access Control, Fire or Video system design experience, appropriate licensing and strong PC skills; a salary range of $68,000‑$93,000 is offered along with a performance‑based bonus and full benefits.
