About the Role

As a Quality Inspector at nVent Management Company, you will join a hard‑working team that delivers top‑tier electrical and data‑center solutions. You will be responsible for thorough product inspections, task prioritization, and maintaining strict quality control. • Perform comprehensive product inspections using work instructions, checklists, and drawings. • Prioritize tasks as directed by Operations Supervisors to meet efficiency and departmental goals. • Identify non‑conforming products and create Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs). • Ensure no active NCRs exist before completing inspections to maintain quality control. • Apply precision and non‑precision gauges, meters, tools, or devices to verify conformance to acceptance criteria. • Interpret and apply Quality System/ISO procedures and documentation. • Apply appropriate math, geometry, and Microsoft Office applications.

What You Bring

• Hold a high school diploma or GED. • Have at least 1 year of experience in quality processes and familiarity with Quality Management Systems (preferred). • Proficient with precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, hardness testers, CMM, optical comparators, and functional testers. • Able to coordinate, plan workload, and work independently. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration. • Quickly learn and operate a wide variety of test and measurement equipment. • Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy.
